First day of school!

Yep, it’s totally that time of year again! Time for school! Here’s a photo of the kids before going to the bus stop today. Aren’t they just cute? Here’s a link to last year’s photo. Doesn’t time just fly by?
So the kids had new outfits on the first day. I think they just look too cute! I took lots of photos, here are Deanna’s and here are Megan’s. Most are the same, but I like to keep them divided for organization’s sake.
Here’s Megan up close. She was really excited to go to school. She was up and dressed by 7:30! That’s early for our house! I think the outfit is adorable. It was a hand-me-down from the neighbor and still in perfect condition. Good for school and she kept it clean all day. Yea!
Here is my third grader! It’s hard to believe that Deanna is already in third grade, but she is. She picked out some nice new clothes and cute outfits. Thanks to MeMaw for gift cards to JCPenney’s for Deanna!
Well, we are into day two and they weren’t as excited to wake up and go to school, but that’s life! Deanna said she was tired and we had that wonderful conversation about if they’d just go to bed on time…you know that one!

Yes, it was time to go camping before the summer ended! We spent three night and four days at our campsite in Virginia Beach and had a great time. We have
Here’s a photo of me and Jonathan that Richard took. Had to get me in a picture sometime! This is a place that we will definitely go to over and over again even if we move away from this area. It’s a blast and the kids like it (and so does Richard!).
One more picture for the post (check out all 200+ that I took to see all the fun we had) of the kids roasting hot dogs over the open fire. They loved having the fire and we made smores as a special treat.
Tonight was Family Night at Applebee’s which means, it’ll be a cheap dinner out! Kids meals are only 99 cents and we had a gift card so we pretty much didn’t pay for anything! Yea!! That’s my kind of meal with this bunch!
But with Family Night, they have a nice gentleman walking around making balloon objects for a couple of hours. Deanna got a green dinosaur, Megan got a pink cat and Kathryn got a pink bear hugging a heart. It was a different evening for sure!
I did manage to capture a cute picture of Jonathan and what kind of night would it be if I didn’t snap a photo of Richard!
I guess I should have turned the camera around to take a photo of me, but I wouldn’t want the phone to break! It’s all I got! LOL!
